Mental Health Therapist – Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team (Grants Pass)
The Assertive Community Treatment therapist provides mental health services in the community as an integral part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
Performs diagnostic assessments, provides therapy both individually and in groups, and guides the coordination of services. Develops individual treatment plans in conjunction with the client and other individuals as indicated. Provides mental health services and supports to assist adults with mental illnesses achieve their rehabilitative, resilience and recovery goals. Conducts safety screens as necessary and participates in a rotation of a 24-hour phone.
The Therapist provides clinical recovery-focused services to adults with mental illness and substance abuse problems, if present. Utilizes appropriate evidence-based practices. Submits timely documentation of services provided.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in psychology or a related field, an understanding of co-occurring disorders, and related experience. 2017 grads welcome to apply. Candidate must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision. Must pass State-required background check and DMV checks; possess a valid OR driver's license and demonstrate a safe driving record.
Competitive pay: rate based on licensure, experience and qualifications.
